Tandyville gets Air Con

In an effort to help with our mould issue we decided to put in an A/C with a dehumidify option to draw some of the wet air out of the lounge. Works really good and certainly draws lots of water out, didn't solve the mould problem though. On the bright side we have A/C for really hot summer days.

Workshop upgrade

Even though we have finished building we still seem to need more room so a new rack for the workshop has been built and installed. Hm filled it up way to quickly

Every farm needs a name

Every farm needs a name and a sign, Thanks Jena for coming up with the name and thanks Brian for cutting it out with the plasma cutter.

Retaining Wall

We were experiencing some water issues behind the house with water just not draining off as good as we had hoped and as you often do we decided we better put some under ground drainage in like we said we should have when we built. anyway wasn’t that big a job Chris dug the trench and we dropped a drain in.

Well that was the easy bit as we decided to a rock wall on the drain which Chris got us from a local farm who were only too happy to have them moved from their paddock. So with the help of the trusty Kubota, Tina and I placed all these on a 30m wall we think it looks great but it was seriously hard work.

Every one needs a SPA

After sign off to be honest we took it pretty easy and just spent a bit of time enjoying our new house. But it wasn't long before thoughts turned to what we could do next. Chris our neighbour gave us a lead on a second-hand spa in Mission beach so we ventured off and made a purchase -

It needed some repairs, new yets and a blower so once these were purchased and a conversion to gas heating we were enjoying our new spa on the deck. This also required a large screen TV to be fitted so after sunset. After some while sitting on top of the deck we decided it was time to cut a hole in our beautiful deck and sink the spa in.
